The Tale of Genji is “the first major loan exhibition in North America to focus on the artistic tradition inspired by Japan’s most celebrated work of literature, The Tale of Genji.” — The Met.

The accompanying exhibition catalogue, designed by Christopher Kuntze, uses Albertus Nova (cover, chapter headlines) and Edita (main text). Palatino Sans is used for captions and page numbers. The font used for Japanese text is unidentified. [edit: It’s probably Kozuka Mincho, see comments.]
