From Bolerium Books:

The author, an AME minister who heads the Religious Heritage of the Black World at Atlanta’s Interdenominational Theological Center, traces the history of heterosexual black family life in light of socioeconomic conditions in the Americas.

The title is set in Stymie Black Italic, making use of its many swash and biform alternate glyphs. Thomas’s name is set in Folio, and the ornamental dingbats come from the original glyph set for Davida.
