Phases is a compilation of B-sides from singer-songwriter Angel Olsen, released in 2017 on Jagjaguwar. Design by Miles Johnson, with cover photography by Lisa Businovski.

What may look like Letraset’s Stripes on first sight is in fact Harold Lohner’s Hardline. This digital typeface design was inspired by the 3-letter logo of United Staff Union. While its E is similar in feel to Tony Wenman’s linking multiline face, the A is more reminiscent of Aki Lines. The artist’s name appears to be lettering with similarities to ITC Avant Garde Gothic.

  1. The lettering in the artist’s name looks closer to L&C Hairline Gothic to me. Especially the way it’s used here:
