Mickael Dard created the poster design for the 16th edition of Augenblick, a French festival of German-spoken movies. The typefaces he used are Kiosk and Neue Haas Grotesk 65 medium. While all the infos were set with Neue Haas Grotesk in a bright orange, Kiosk was used to fill the background and serve as a window through which this year’s guest of honor Hanna Schygulla can be spotted.
The original photo of Hanna Schygulla was taken by Meller Marcovicz Digne, BPK, Berlin.
The poster was produced as a silkscreen print at Lézard Graphique.

Love how the designer used the positive space of Kiosk to form a beautiful photo backdrop for the orange Neue Haas Grotesk type. Thanks for sharing.
