An exquisitely 1990s cassette from Iraqi singer Mahmoud Anwar. Although Anwar moved to Kuwait either in 1985 or 1990, the cassette was produced in Iraq. No designer is credited.

Assuming it isn’t hand-lettered, I was unable to find a typeface for the artist’s name, محمود أنور. The label’s logo — reading حكمت للانتاج والتوزيع الفني or Hekmat Artistic Production and Distribution, enigmatically abbreviated HT — is certainly hand-drawn, but the motto on the back, “نحن نصنع الجودة” (“we produce quality”) is set in Al-Harf al-Jadid One. All other Arabic text is set in Yakout. The 1 and 2 indicating the two sides of the cassette are certainly at least based on Futura. All other Latin text is set in Times New Roman.
