Eh! Tallers per a joves is a series of workshops for young people held at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, CCCB.
The workshops are branded with the identity of the workshop program, based on a system of mobile panels cut out in the shape of the word “Eh!” There is an interesting contrast between the digital aesthetics of typography processing (3D extrusion) and the materiality of the lettering, which has become a floating object in space. The result in images is surprising: the typographic objects become physical watermarks and ensure the visual coherence of the CCCB campaign on social networks. The animated “Eh!” logo is integrated into the communication of the event on social networks and the CCCB website.
The CCCB proposed a program for young people from 14 to 18 years old during the summer of 2020. There have been 10 workshops with different groups of creators: African urban dances, rap, silkscreen printing, documentary, fanzines, self-representation with selfies, contemporary dance and martial arts, podcasts, autoethnography and videomapping.
The CCCB is a multidisciplinary cultural centre that deals with the key challenges of contemporary society through different languages and formats, with an extensive programme that includes major thematic exhibitions, series of conferences and literary meetups, film screenings and festivals.
