Vacanza in casa is a creative initiative asking a selected group of photographers who experienced lockdown from all corners of the world to grab their camera and go on holidays… at home. From their own living rooms, windows and rooftops, they captured images that seem to encapsulate a unique and extraordinary moment in time — a souvenir shared through a set of postcards.

Each photograph is printed on a 15×19 cm postcard that describes where and when the picture was taken, along with a caption written by its author and set in SangBleu Versailles. ZAINA & Vacanza Studio, who initiated the project, also designed a bespoke case featuring foil stamped and blind embossed details, set in Suisse Int’l. The fonts were provided free of charges by Swiss Typefaces as part of the Covid Initiative licensing program.

SangBleu Versailles & Suisse Int’l are available from Swiss Typefaces.

    1. I really love seeing SB Versailles. It just feels like the perfect transitional typeface. The width, the level of contrast, the x-height, the Q…everything about it is so comfortable and so fine-tuned.
