The United States Air Force presents Christmas Programs album art
This album featuring military music and promotional spots was released as United States Air Force Public Service Record in 1966, amidst the Vietnam War. The cover illustration shows Vietnamese kids, queuing up barefooted to get their gifts from a fully dressed Santa Claus. In place of Mr. Bingle, he’s accompanied by two servicemen in uniform. The blackletter face with Lombardic-style capitals is shown in Photo-Lettering’s Alphabet Thesaurus Vol. 2 (1965) as Halifax.
