ITC Benguiat used by Loretta Trezzo for the first-edition jacket design for Robert Silverberg’s World of a Thousand Colors, published in 1982 by Arbor House, New York. Trezzo used the Condensed Bold style from Ed Benguiat’s eponymous typeface family. The author’s name is shown in all caps with enlarged initials.

Embarked on an interstellar voyage, a mixed crew enters into spaces and worlds, both outer and inner, never hinted at but holding perils and beauties.
