ITC Benguiat Gothic in use for the personnel of Focus, an album by American jazz trumpeter Bill Hardman (1933–1990). The typeface choice for the title is a case of visual onomatopoeia: It’s Process, a set of out-of-focus grotesque caps. Recorded in 1980, the album was released only in 1984 by Academy of Fine Arts Katowice. Art direction by W. Dale Cramer, with photography by Hugh Bell.
