Heavy Spirit In The Sky

“Spirit in the Skywas a unique spiritual rock song. Released in 1969, it was, and has remained, a world hit. This version is from that year. Published on the original label — Reprise — this Dutch release was taken care of by the Negram-Delta record company, and the sleeve was printed in the Netherlands.
Which doesn’t imply that the anonymous design was produced there: the same design was used in Germany and Norway, and possibly elsewhere. The design uses the Neil Bold typeface for the artist’s name and the similar (but considerably older) Futura Display for the titles. It was probably made using Letraset dry transfer sheets.
