This identity designed for New Craft show at Ponding Space art space in Taipei, Taiwan. The exhibition was curated by Post Modern Collection, who chose an exciting concept: a growing collection of postcard-sized artworks.

Di grotesk is used for all English information, superimposed on a lettering with the art show’s title. The typeface used for Chinese is yet to be identified.

From design studio Showshow Craft (autotranslated from Korean):

After a long absence, the only event this year is to participate in the “New Craft” exhibition, curated by pon ding and cooperating with the Dutch creation platform post modern collection.

The exhibition promotion is not just about designing a single main visual. This time, we collaborated with the curator of Peng Ding to compare the unique creative materials and techniques of the participating artists, and use materials from Taiwanese life to reproduce 8 sets of different craft performances to interpret. Although the results are minimal, the process is not sloppy.

Dutch design has always had a unique sense of humor and point of view. The seemingly perceptual expressions have extremely delicate logic and execution. Although the works exhibited this time echo the postcard sized theme frame and are small in size, the novelty and sophistication are not compromised. Those who like Dutch design or material innovation will not be disappointed.
