Letraset’s Pump Bold (1970) with a modified R, for the Heavy Ultra Metal effects pedal from Beatsound’s Applause brand, featuring an “original circuit of Japan” by Digital Technics. “Applause” looks like a condensed Univers. While the knob labels use Helvetica, “digital switch” is probably Akzidenz-Grotesk.
The MICR-style caps for “Digital Technics” and the dot-matrix letters for “Electronic Effect” are unidentified. Regarding the former, Time Machine (2001) has a similar C, but is different in other details. Chances are it’s a custom-drawn logo.
Apparently Pump was used for a whole line of Applause products. Here are a few more effect units as collected in the Effects Database maintained by Bart Provoost.
