This book offers a “listing of single words considered the most important to medical users requiring only spelling and syllabication, rather than a definition.” It was edited by Robert W. Prichard together with Robert E. Robinson and published by McGraw-Hill in 1972.

The title pairs numerals from Prisma Bauhaus A (the style with eight even lines) and all-caps ITC Ronda. Book designer Anne Canevari Green specified Times Roman for the interior, which was set by Rocappi, Inc.
