The exhibition The Organ – Miracle of Sound Art in Waldenburg Castle near Chemnitz provides unique insights into the organ’s inner life, presents the collection of the Saxon Organ Academy in a new way and playfully conveys the history, function and beauty of this unique instrument.

The verticality and variance of the pipes inspired our choice of typefaces. Pressio emphasizes this strong verticality and is therefore used in different condensed cuts throughout the exhibition. Mediaan adds a classic and complementary effect, used in its Italic style for citations and keywords. Various styles of Fira Sans and BL Arctic are used for the title graphics. This way, a flexible and modern typographic system was built.

All exhibition elements use a royal blue color palette, befitting the queen of instruments. Sometimes in warmly elegant, sometimes in brightly active tones, depending on the desired spatial effect and form of use.
