Plaza Suite is a comedy movie, directed by Arthur Hiller and based on Neil Simon’s play by the same name. Released by Paramount Pictures in 1971, it came with various (international) poster variants. The main posters used Marvin with initial swash caps. The artwork for the vertical posters was done by Robert McGinnis, and the grotesks are Helvetica for the tag line and Venus for credits. The horizontal poster seems to use artwork from another artist.

  1. As of April 2023: I figured out that Reebox is the digital incarnation of Schaedler’s Marvin made by Brandon Nickerson released to this date.

  2. Designer Andrey Azizov also did an interpretation of the same typeface as AA Penny this year.
