A relatively constrained use of Shatter by Ron Warwell, for the title of Reflectory. The jazz album by baritone saxophonist Pepper Adams (1930–1986) was released by Muse Records in 1976. It looks as if the letterforms were set in vibration by the sound waves made by the saxophonist.

The musicians’ names are set in all-caps Folio. Sy Johnson’s liner notes and the track names and credits on the back cover are set in ITC Souvenir.

Look at the R! That is not Folio! Maybe it is Akzidenz Grotesk.

  2. Hi Åke, I should have mentioned that explicitly: it’s Folio with its alternate straight-legged R.
