All-lowercase Staudel Xenotype J for a cookbook edited by William I. Kaufmann and published by Hewitt House in 1969. This quirky face was presented in Photo-Lettering’s Art Nouveau Xenotypes 1895–1905 from 1962 as Xenotype 3481. Later catalogs listed the uncredited design under the name Staudel Xenotype J. Roberta III by Facsimile Fonts is virtually identical, but has no lowercase. Some of the extenders were shortened to enable tighter linespacing. The author’s name is added in Helvetica caps set on an arc.
