Club 360 is an electronic music festival organized by FIMEB and Ola Radio. It took place in Bordeaux, France, in June 2020. In order to reach its public after months of quarantine, the two organizations planned a series of DJ sets and concerts lasting three days, each day in a different location, all of which aren’t usually opened for this kind of events: the roof of the submarine base, the Aquitaine museum, and the basement of the Water Mirror, a pool designed by the artist Michel Corajoud. The idea of 360° in the name Club 360 is an evocation of the three different levels where the concerts took place, starting from the sky to reach the depth underwater. In addition, and due to sanitary restrictions, all concerts were broadcast in a selection of bars and clubs of the city, in order to welcome all people who weren’t able to get a ticket before they sold out.
The identity of the festival was designed by Bureau Nuits. It brings back the aesthetics of 1990s electronic music with the use of neon green colors and updated techno-punk imagery. The use of Signal Compressed from Production Type for the logotype adds something hybrid, between the tuning universe and digital art as a whole. This is reinforced by the creation of 3D sculptures to represent each location. These were all deformations of what we expect a body to be. The information is set in Signal Mono, adding to the mechanical feeling developed through the other graphic choices. The identity was executed exclusively in digital form, as the concerts were streamed live.
