The theme of 2021 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism (SBAU2021) is Crossroads, Building the resilient city. From the website of design studio Everyday Practice:

Everyday Practice designed a data book consisting of seven books on each theme that penetrates the biennale. The data book, which contains a vast amount of research and studies for the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, with more than 1,000 pages, was produced as a series of publications containing biennale identity through the biennale’s key color and typography.

BallPill by Benoît Bodhuin is paired with a yet unidentified sans serif [it’s GT Cinetype, see comments] and another typeface for the Korean text [Apple SD 산돌고딕 Neo].

  1. Love this use of BallPill. I think the sans is GT cinetype, with his edge, and the “a”?

  2. Good call, Maxime! I concur, GT Cinetype looks like a match.

What’s still missing is the Hangul typeface used for the Korean text. I’ve asked Everyday Practice if they can help with the ID.

  3. It’s Apple SD 산돌고딕 Neo, the version of Sandoll GothicNeo that comes bundled with Mac OS.
