Halyard is the brand typeface of Simulmedia, a platform for cross-channel TV advertising.

Simulmedia’s entire website is rendered in various fonts from the utilitarian but expressive grotesque sans by Darden Studio. All headings are presented in the compact Halyard Display. For body copy, Simulmedia Halyard Text comes into operation: this subfamily is optimized for a pleasant reading experience in medium to small sizes. (There’s a third optical size drawn for tiny text, Halyard Micro, which isn’t used here.) All members of the Halyard family were designed to maintain a consistent personality across the sizes, and to create the impression of a single type design – united by distinctive details like the two-story g or the curved leg in R. Simulmedia engages Halyard for bringing across their message clearly and functionally, with contemporary flavor.
