“April Brave” is a song by Loah & Bantum, released on Sad Banger Records in 2019. The music video featuring Jessie Thompson and Tobi Balogun (choreography and dance) was directed and produced by Ellius Grace, with cinematography by JJ Rolfe. Titles were designed by Shauna Buckley. They kick in at the end of the clip, when the two dancers are shown at the beach, frozen in intimate embrace under a cloudy sky, with the title just above the horizon. Credits follow as the camera slowly moves away from the couple.

For the typography, Buckley opted for Vulture, an all-caps design by Ellmer Stefan of the Pyte Foundry, with unconventionally distributed thicks and thins. The 19th-century “monstrosity” is contrasted with a formal script in the tradition of 18th-century writing masters. It’s Aurore (1993) by the late François Boltana (best known for his Stilla).
