This book stems from a thesis carried out at IED Milan. One More Step contains a journey that lasted three years. The customer is Barilla “integrale”, the most famous Italian word after hello, beautiful is the sacred pizza. The best known pasta brand in the world. A clear concept, true beauty is inside things, go beyond prejudice.
The cover of the book is bare and raw, it lets you see what you usually don’t notice inside, the layout grid. Inside the book we find a gradual transition from a rougher, “integral” paper like pulp to an optical, clean and smooth paper, so as to convey the repositioning of the brand to the touch. Plays of perspective, tissue papers that reveal what is underneath and hidden inserts are the main reason to take the one more step from which the thesis takes its title, a greater effort that requires attention.
