This special hardcover edition of Ask the Dust by John Fante (1929–1983) was published in 2021 by Brazilian publishing house José Olympio in a Portuguese-language edition translated by Roberto Muggiati and titled Pergunte ao Pó. The font used on the cover is Kokoschka by PintassilgoPrints. The typeface is used for both the author’s name and the book title, making use of the font’s discretionary ligatures and taking up most of the cover space. The blurb is set in Tenso from Exljbris.
