This ad appeared in the Montreal Gazette newspaper on Saturday, March 9th, 1985. It advertises ticket prices for the Montreal Expos baseball team, a now defunct major league baseball team which relocated to Washington in 2004, and became the Washington Nationals.

“There’s electricity in the air!” is set in Van Dijk, with an electricity effect added by the designer, which I find to be a nice fit for the already-pointy shape of the characters.

Body text titles are set in Helvetica Black Condensed Oblique, while the body text itself is Helvetica Consensed Oblique.
