Ricardo “Richie” Ray and Bobby Cruz are a Puerto Rican music duo that formed in 1963 and were popular in the late 1960s through mid 1970s in Latin America, the United States, and Caribbean countries. According to Wikipedia:
The duo is well known for helping to establish the popularity of salsa music in the 1960s and 1970s. They are also notable for fusioning elements of classical music and rock with traditional Latin music.
For their 1970 album El Diferente, the artists’ names are set in Cruz Swinger with a custom embellished swash R in “Ricardo”, alternate swash u, and a single-story a (perhaps at one time available, but not shown in this specimen). The album title is set in Art Gothic. The track list and the credits on the back of the album appear to be set in Helvetica.

Hey, that’s an LTypI Deluxe! Not only is “Cruz” set in Cruz Swinger. The designer of this typeface is named Ray Cruz.
