A Hipótese Cinema is an essay about cinema screening inside and out of school.

From INCM (translated):

In 2000, Jack Lang commissioned Alain Bergala to develop a project for cinema, within the framework of the five-year plan for the introduction of the arts into the compulsory curriculum from basic education, which would be implemented by the Missão de Educação Artística e de Ação Cultural, in which Bergala holds the position of advisor for cinema. […] This essay allows us to situate the challenges of its large-scale development in the global context of National Education, from kindergarten to 12th grade, as well as, in a more general way, the challenges of transmitting cinema as an art to younger generations.
