A humorous acquaintance card dating to the late nineteenth or early twentieth century.

Confidential.
Miss, If you desire to form my acquaintance, please state time and place on blank space.

The same text with a different illustration and layout appears on another acquaintance card, see Acquaintance Card Confidential.

And the same donkey illustration (print block) shows up on yet another card, see May I Become the Proud Bird Who Shall Accompany You?.

The headline is set in Bank Note Italic, a shaded all-caps typeface (with small caps). According to Hans Reichardt, it was released by the Boston Type Foundry ca. 1863. Bank Note Roman followed about 20 years later. The Italic was patented Dec. 20, 1870.
