Léo Terrando is a French designer working in Australia. His visual identity is based on a wordmark, made of the Medium weight of Garnett, Anglo-Saxon and modern cast iron. The alternation of roman and italics refers to the foreign origin of the designer and to notions of the artist’s signature. The reworking of the accent is done to highlight it and affirm a French touch. Garnett’s alternate R with straight legs (found in stylistic set 2) harmonizes the italic and roman and adds to the rhythm. The Medium grease is necessary to support the printing technique and keep the presence in small size.

The business cards and portfolios were letterpress and thermo-relief printed on wood cardboard.
