LEGO Minions: The Rise of Gru packaging

The LEGO Group purchased Nordique and hired Leksen Design to create the Cyrillic alphabet to add to the family. Nordique was selected due to its similar aesthetic to the Minions logo.
This post shows a series of box designs from LEGO’s Minions: The Rise of Gru Lego theme which is based on the film of the same name. Licensed from Universal Pictures and Illumination, the toy line was launched in March 2020. Nordique is used in lowercase letters for the name of the sets as well as for the names of the featured minions. “The Rise of Gru” is set in caps from Gotham.
