Wietzow is a new outdoors opera located close to Daberkow in Germany, operating since 2021. From their website (translated from German):
Estate Wietzow, idyllically situated above the gentle riverbed of the Tollense, becomes a new place for art and culture. The estate’s expansive, diverse landscape park extends from the house down into the floodplain. We want to present this wonderful ensemble of buildings and parks to the public as a new center of musical entertainment, a symbol of high musical standards and quality, a platform for excellent young musicians, and a creative place that shows people the wonder of classical music.
Their visual identity – designed by Lena Hegger – includes a wide variety of on- and offline applications of the typeface Everett by Nolan Paparelli. For this project, she commissioned a slightly customised version of Everett Light with a slanted W. It appears in the wordmark as well as in texts, alongside Everett’s alternate single-story a and graphic 1.
