The environmental graphics for the Annenberg Community Beach House incorporate FF Fago [edit: it’s Flama Condensed, see comments], and Clarendon after Robert Belsey in 1845. The Clarendon is bold and works with depth and scale. The sans is highly legible and clear.

  1. That is not FF Fago, but actually Feliciano Type’s Flama. I can tell by the numerals and the uppercase.

  2. You are correct, Verich! Thanks for catching this mishap – fixed now. The signs in the second image feature another sans for the small text, with a two-story g. It appears to be neither Fago nor Flama. Sean?

  3. I believe that the small text is set in News Gothic.

  4. I concur. Thanks, Verich – added!

Thanks for pointing that out. You are correct. The size and style of the small text is due to ADA code that restricted anything too condensed. We switched from Fago to Flama midstream for the numerals on the pool deck.
