5 Media identity
Times of crises calls for new ideas, re-evaluation, and focus on how to turn challenges into positives. 5 Media is a new non-profit media, looking into what we as individuals and communities can do to make the most of our lives and societies. By spotlighting new perspectives and inspiring profiles they hope to encourage everyday change makers in their actions. e-Types has created the 5 brand identity and new website.
The 5 Media brand is positive, bright, vibrant – and yellow. It’s all about putting content first and giving the stage to people with great stories to tell. Hence the “high 5” logo is used flexibly to emphasize key messages. These simple core elements are supplemented by a range of characteristic bespoke illustrations by Alec Doherty.
The Five Star and Five Gothic typeface families, developed by Playtype, are the core unifiers of the new brand, adding brand personality and consistency throughout all communication.
