Western Beats is an album by Kane West released in 2014 on the PC Music label.
The cover was designed under the artist’s real name, Gus Lobban. A simple design that can be described as trollish. Indeed the font Comic Sans is very often mocked and therefore is rarely found in professional design. Gus Lobban assumes it 100%.
The album title is shown in black on white, in all lowercase letters. This cover corresponds to the aesthetics of PC music which experiments and looks for new sounds, new visuals and new ways to repackage the popstar by being one of the biggest label of Hyperpop.
