Polar Calendar 2023
In 2023, the Polar Calendar explores positive and negative amounts as equally true readings for the passage of time. The seven columns that indicate the days of the week are divided by 53 lines, allowing the days to be read in relation to the month and the whole year in each of the 365 cells. Printed in Pantone 806 U (number 0), Pantone 2018 U (number 2), Pantone Process Blue U (number 3) and Pantone 2420 U (background) on Offset paper 180g/m2.
Seeking high legibility for the small letters in the table, variety of numeral glyphs, in addition to good looks, it couldn’t be any other font than the recently launched Triz, from the Brazilian foundry Typeóca. The large numerals that present the current year are composed in Universal Sans by Family Type.
The calendar measures 420×594 mm and was offset printed on Offset paper (180g/m²).
