Toad Road, a small clothing boutique in Albuquerque, New Mexico, wanted a fresh and sexy campaign to catch some eyes. For the typeface, we wanted something thin and tall, as well as contemporary. Grotzec Headline was the typeface of choice. License: All Rights Reserved. License: All Rights Reserved. License: All Rights Reserved. License: All Rights Reserved. Simply scaling them down doesn’t work: They don’t match the lowercase in weight anymore. This is especially distracting in a calligraphic design such as Ondine. As for Grotsec Headline, I wish that I refined the leading and tracking a bit more. That’s of course looking at it with fresh eyes now. :) Post a comment Name Email – will not be published Website Your response Submit Comment More Grotzec in use Manoel de Oliveira’s Grande Plano retrospective2015And AtelierContributed by Feliciano Type Staff Pick Catalina Cruz 2018 campaign2018Cybele GrandjeanTheresa Canning ZastContributed by Feliciano Type The Future of Capitalism book series2017FBA (Ferrand Bicker & Associados)Ana BoavidaContributed by Feliciano Type Sponsor More in Fashion/Apparel New York magazine, Fall Fashion issue 20162016Thomas AlbertyMiranda DempsterRandy MinorContributed by CJ Dunn Staff Pick Maison De Greef 18482018Base DesignContributed by Richard Baird Staff Pick Changer la mode pour le climat 20152015Maison SolideContributed by Quentin Schmerber Staff Pick Line & Jo2015Contributed by Gareth Hague More in Posters/Flyers Mablis Festivalen2019Studio OkerContributed by Sharp Type “Tumblr Reads About Music” poster2013TumblrContributed by Derek FTNFO: Flower That Never Falls Offc. 2018Phillip KimContributed by phillip kim Festival Vie Sauvage nº7, 20182018NDbrgContributed by Axel Pelletanche Thévenart Staff Pick More Fonts In Use Hidden Folk by Eleanor Arnason (Many World Press, 2014)2014John D. Florian,
Thanks for the feedback. The logo was out of my control, unfortunately. I’ll take your suggestion and pitch it to the owner, however.
