We Have Explosive” is a track by The Future Sound of London, released in 1997. It was the band’s most successful single, getting to number 12 in the UK Singles Chart.

According to Discogs.com, the layout and typography is by the group themselves (credited as FSOL) who happened to be Brian Dougans and Garry Cobain, using an image by Run Wrake, and an oil texture by Buggy G. Riphead, i.e. Mark McLean, a computer graphics designer, visual artist and photographer from the UK. Additional design by Ian Kay.

Both covers, along with the cover sleeves, the CD, etc. use Desoto, designed by Alan Carr in 1993, not to be confused with Stephen Rapp’s typeface of the same name.

  1. We decided not to go to the lengths of tracking down the fonts used for the title’s ransom note typography. They are fairly generic, and with just single glyphs to go at, conclusive IDs are tricky.
