Bath Rugby Foundation is Bath Rugby’s charity, established in 2003 and the only UK charity that is deeply connected to a premiership rugby team. Their purpose is to empower vulnerable children and young people in Bath and the surrounding area to succeed by providing guidance, life skills and opportunities.

In a current rebrand, Supple Studio used F37 Foundry’s F37 Hooj for the logo design, with various widths of OH no Type Co.’s Obviously for other applications. F37 Hooj is clean, sharp and streamlined. Though it has something of a classic, traditional feel, it’s a typeface that exudes precision and modernity.

Comment from Jamie at Supple Studio:

We wanted to use a typeface that naturally had a large bowl at the bottom of the cap B. When flipped on its side it creates two people side by side – one adult and one young person. F37 Hooj made the idea work perfectly; with absolutely no tweaking or trickery. I love it when you can use type like that – in its purest form – to create a logo. Plus it’s called Hooj and most rugby players are huge too!
