This compilation album with “20 original hits” by Harry Belafonte was released by budget label K-Tel Records in Australia and New Zealand. There is no date on the album, but Searching for a Gem dates it to 1980. The singer’s name is in all-caps Bottleneck (Letraset, 1972).

  1. Text on vinyl record labels was often composed on an IBM Selectric Composer. The typeface used here is named Classified News, a gothic with wide capitals. The 6pt size is distinguished by a flat-top A. Here’s a detail from a March 1968 specimen:
