Campaign for the fourteenth edition of the EASD Design Festival at EASD Pedro Almodóvar in Ciudad Real, Spain. These talks spotlight the extraordinary work of creative minds and designers hailing from diverse artistic disciplines. To ignite excitement, especially among our youthful audience, we’ve concocted a diverse creative direction steeped in contemporary vibes and modern aesthetics. We’ve given a fresh spin to the notion that feeding knowledge, that isn’t merely a supermarket trip to buy food, but it’s about attending the conference to satisfy you creative curiosity.
Drawing from the theme of gaining food/knowledge, we’ve conceived a “Season Selection,” a subtle to supermarket and nod to this year’s participants. The speakers, who generously share their wisdom with our students, are like the freshest produce in the market.
We selected ABC Asfalt, created by Dinamo, as our font choice to best convey the festival’s identity. Asfalt draws inspiration from the elongated and tightly-packed forms found in road signage, with a subtle nod to parking supermarket aesthetics, making it perfect for creating a distinctive typographic statement. This identity is complemented by Favorit, a grotesque typeface from the same foundry, which is simple and highly legible.
