I’m Not Scared, You’re Scared is the first children’s book by comedian and TV show host Seth Meyers, with illustrations by Rob Sayegh Jr.:

When you’re a bear who is easily scared, it’s hard to have friends. Fortunately, Bear has one: Rabbit, who is very brave. One day, Rabbit urges Bear to face his fears and embark on an adventure together. However, things don’t entirely go as planned, and the two friends learn the true meaning of bravery.

The title is set in the Big Condensed Bold style of Tal Leming’s Burbank. The typeface used for the credits and also for the text inside the book is Montara Gothic. Designed by Jim Parkinson with inspiration from mid-20th century showcard lettering, it is similarly informal, but has less closed shapes than Burbank Big. Montara is a fine and overlooked choice. Alternatively, the typographer could have stuck with Burbank: conceived as a versatile series, it also offers text-optimized Small styles with more open apertures and spacing.
