a
c.1958 specimen as part of a large series of bold geometric
sans serifs distinguished by vertically cut ‘G/S’ and round dots.
This series includes Fargo (extra narrow);
Flyer (narrow) with Elston (oblique),
Veranda (outlined), Venice (outlined
shaded) and Quest (stained); Free (medium
wide) with Essex (oblique), Veteran
(outlined) and Quota (rough contours);
Ford (wide); and Flare (extra wide) with
Ebony (oblique). Photo-Lettering had the related
series Madison and Crenshaw Mascara.

Digitizations under the name Flyer by Linotype/Adobe (2 widths; equivalent to Flyer and Fargo) and Scangraphic (2 versions with different spacing).
